About
The Ebersole family has been in the rock business since Leo got the “bug” in the early 1950′s. The “bug” turned into a full scale business in 1958 when a highway expansion moved us out of our old location to a new shop west of Wichita on 54 Highway.
We thought, at the time, that we would be there forever. We grew and expanded over the years to become one of the largest in the Nation, with our large mail order department. But then in 2000, the highway department decided it needed to expand again and we were again deported. This time the move was monumental. It took months to pack, build a new facility and move into our new location at 5830 W. Hendryx. We’re still in west Wichita, just 4 miles east of our old place, but this time on the north side of 54 Highway. We’re easy to find, just east of the Sam’s/Wal Mart location and before you get to Furniture Row. We’ve worked long and hard to get our new facility ready for business again and are ready and eager to serve you. We’re still your complete Lapidary Supplier. Check with us when you need Lapidary supplies and tumblers, jewelry and silver smithing equipment and supplies. We’re your “One-stop-shop” for your hobby needs.
Ada, the matriarch of the family just passed away in November 2010, but was still working in the office at the age of 97! Her oldest son Len travels to various Gem and Mineral Shows all over the United States and gets a chance to meet many of you. Del, Ada’s middle son, works right here at the home shop, keeping the Lapidary and mail order department running smoothly. Val, his daughter, handles the Shipping department for both the retail store and the eBay store. Carolyn, Ada’s only daughter, does the bookkeeping and helps customers in our showroom. We’re here to serve you, so let us hear from you soon. You can reach us at (316) 945-4771

What a treasure we have found, in Ebersole. AS long as you are in business, we will be dedicated customers. Love the “family” feel of the store and wonderful selection of real stone beads. Thank-you, for helping us grow our business as well.

This is the most amazing place ever. Honestly, I was and still am so inspired by this store. I love the family that owns and runs Ebersoles. If you like rocks. If you like beads and very cool people, you need to check this place out. I adore going in and do so on a regular basis. It is a touch stone kind of place for me.

Are you all still selling on-line? I’ve been to your store, however that has become rather hard to do since I’ve moved out of Kansas.
